Use this verse as an opening to share the gospel when someone asks you what it means.  Both verbs are in the passive tense.  Christ did the work for us by dying on the cross.  "Redempta Sum" is not only passive, but it indicates completed action because it was all accomplished at the cross. (John 19:30)
